Terms of service
Last updated 1 August 2026
These terms govern your use of fedrate.now (the "site"), operated by Sirius Holdings LLC ("we", "us"). By using the site you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
What this site is
FedRate publishes historical United States interest rate data and provides calculators that model mortgage payments from figures you enter. It is an informational and educational tool.
It is not financial advice. We are not a lender, broker, mortgage adviser, financial adviser or fiduciary, and nothing on the site is a recommendation, an offer, a solicitation, or a quote for any loan or financial product. The rates shown are national averages reported after the fact; the rate available to any particular borrower depends on their credit, lender, location, loan type and timing. Confirm every figure with a qualified lender or adviser before acting on it.
No warranty
The site, the data, and the calculators are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the site will be available, uninterrupted, timely, or error-free, that the data shown is accurate, current or complete, or that any calculation reflects what a lender would actually offer or charge. Rate data originates with third parties and reaches us through their systems; we do not control it and do not independently verify it.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither we nor our officers, employees or suppliers will be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, nor for any loss of profits, revenue, savings, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising out of or relating to your use of — or inability to use — the site, whether based in contract, tort, negligence, strict liability or any other theory, and even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
This expressly includes any loss arising from a financial decision you make in reliance on figures shown here, including any mortgage, refinance, purchase or investment decision.
The site is provided free of charge. There is no fee for access, nothing to buy, and no payment of any kind passes between you and us. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the site is therefore zero United States dollars (USD 0).
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain damages. Where that is the case, the exclusions and limits above apply to the greatest extent those laws permit, and nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use automated means — bots, scrapers, crawlers or similar — to extract data from the site, or otherwise place unreasonable load on it.
- Redistribute, resell, or commercially exploit the rate data obtained from this site. Our own right to display it does not extend to you; see below.
- Interfere with the operation or security of the site, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of it.
- Use the site in violation of any applicable law, or in a way that suggests we endorse you, your product, or your conclusions.
Rate data and third-party rights
The rate data displayed on this site is owned by its originating sources, not by us. The federal funds effective rate is published by the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System; the 30- and 15-year fixed mortgage averages are Freddie Mac's Primary Mortgage Market Survey®. All series are retrieved from FRED®, Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, and remain subject to those parties' own terms, copyrights and restrictions.
Freddie Mac provides its data "as is" with no warranties of any kind and disclaims all liability arising out of or related to it. Nothing on this site grants you any licence to the underlying data. If you wish to reuse it, obtain permission from the data owner.
FedRate is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Freddie Mac, the Federal Reserve, or the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis.
Advertising and third-party links
The site carries third-party advertising and may link to third-party sites. We do not control that content and are not responsible for it, nor do we endorse it. Your dealings with any advertiser or linked site are between you and them. How advertising affects your data is described in our privacy policy.
Our content
The site's design, text, code and presentation are ours or our licensors', and are protected by copyright and other laws. You may use the site for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, republish or create derivative works from it without our permission.
Changes and availability
We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the site at any time, and may revise these terms. If we revise them materially, the date above will change with it. Continuing to use the site after a revision means you accept it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that the state and federal courts located in the State of Nevada have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. Nothing here removes any protection available to you under the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in.
Severability
If any provision of these terms is held unenforceable, it will be limited or severed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will stay in full force.
