Privacy policy
Last updated 1 August 2026
FedRate is operated by Sirius Holdings LLC. This policy explains what happens to data when you use fedrate.now.
What we collect directly
Nothing. There are no accounts, no sign-up, no newsletter and no forms. The figures you type into the mortgage calculator are used by your browser to compute a payment and are never transmitted to us or stored anywhere — they exist only in the page you are looking at and disappear when you close it.
Server logs
Our web server records standard request logs: IP address, timestamp, the page requested, the referring page and your browser's user-agent string. These are used to operate and secure the site — diagnosing errors and identifying abuse — and are not used to build a profile of you or combined with advertising data.
Advertising and cookies
This site displays advertising through Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads, and may use them to personalise the ads you see based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to this and other sites.
You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. For third-party vendors and networks more generally, see aboutads.info/choices and how Google uses data from sites that use its services.
This site does not currently show a cookie consent prompt, so the advertising cookies described above may be set when a page loads. The opt-out links above work regardless of that, as do your browser's own cookie controls. If we add a consent prompt, this policy will be updated to describe it.
Rate data
Interest rate figures come from the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis (FRED). Our server fetches them on a schedule and caches them; your browser requests them from us, not from FRED, so visiting this site does not expose you to the St. Louis Fed.
Your rights
Because we hold no account data, there is generally nothing for us to export or delete on request. Where you are covered by the GDPR, the UK GDPR or the CCPA, you retain your rights of access, rectification, erasure and objection in respect of any personal data we do hold — in practice, server logs. Write to us and we will act on it.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the date above will change with it. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
